By most standards, there are a maximum of seven continents - Africa, Antarctica, Asia, Australia/Oceania, Europe, North America, and South America. Many geographers and scientists now refer to six continents, where Europe and Asia are combined (because they're one solid landmass).

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated has chapters on three of these continents, Africa, Asia and North America. There are also several chapters in the Caribbean. All chapters outside of the continental USA are a part of the International Region. We Pi Upsilon Omega are proud members of the ingenious International Region, under the direction of  Carrie J. Clark.
